Myles “Fiddler” Murray

Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly at his residence on June 20, 2024, at the age of 67. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcie and Cecil; brothers, Charles, Llewellyn, and Irving; and sisters, Asena, Ramona, Margaret, and Beulah.

Myles immensely enjoyed life. A musical enthusiast, he often enjoyed entertaining family and friends playing accordion, piano, and harmonica. Myles was known for his sense of humor and talent for telling stories, and there were many. He’ll be greatly missed by family, and many friends all over. 

He leaves behind his loving wife, Dee; daughters, Laura (Cameron) and Renee (Adam); stepchildren, Cheryl (Adrian), Gary (Pam), and Blair (Ashley); brothers,  Ken (Donna), Jim (Rhonda), and Fred and his son David; sisters, Florence and Sharon; and special close friends, Jimmy Butler, Ronnie Thomas, and Wayne Penney. Myles is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, CBS, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 3 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Hickey’s Memorial Chapel, 570 Conception Bay Highway, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. Following the Service a celebration of life gathering will be held at Tiny’s Bar and Grill in Kelligrews, Conception Bay South.   Donations in his memory may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation.
