Rest peacefully my beautiful Jeanie. I had a soft spot for this lady she always made me smile. Your grace and glamour shown in your radiant eyes. You are at peace and every time I think if you I will remember your reaction to the baby chicks hatching!

Jean and I were in McAuley hall together and attended HOLY HEART for grade 11. We became good friends and lead lots of adventures together (Sneaking down to watch hockey after lights out) and never got caught. Jean joined the convent and I went to teacher's training at Littledale. I would sneak her bars and hide them under a specified rock. At prayers she would wink at me to let me know she found the bar. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

My heart is with my family, and I am sending each and every one of you a big hug and my deepest sincerity. I will miss Ant Jean, and will always remember her birthday messages and calls - I adored and appreciated how lengthy these messages would be, and how her tone would stay the same every year - full of deep love and care "Anty Jeanie loves you, muah". Ant Jean loved her siblings, her kids, her grandchildren, her husband, her nieces and nephews, and anyone she could get a laugh out of. She will always be remembered for her spirit.

My deepest sympathies on your family’s loss of Jean.
It’s been many years since I’ve seen or spoken to Jean, which would have been at one of Sandra’s family functions; Usually to bring family members and friends together to celebrate an accomplishment by one of Sandra and Ed’s girls, Heather and Meghan. Both of whom are their pride and joy!
I remember Jean being welcoming, friendly and wearing a smile as big as her heart! The family connection was evident all around!
Thinking of Sandra, Sylvia, Janet, Nellie and Jeans’ brothers today, Pat, Jim, and Terry.
Wishing all of Jeans family, particularly her two daughters and son, blessings and heartfelt memories which will help ease their grief and sadness.

To: Denise, Deanne, Dion, and to all Jean’s family, sending our deepest condolences to you on the passing of your dear Mother. We have many wonderful memories of your Mom (and Dad) over the years. We enjoyed lots of laughs and fun times that were very special. We were so happy to host Jean’s last birthday party which she happily shared the spot light with her sister. From my earliest memories of my cousin Jean, she was a force of nature. She was fun, she was loving, she embraced life. I remember when she moved to Happy Valley, she would often visit with Mom and Dad and we loved to see her coming. You could be sure there was fun to be had. That little glint in her eye told us she was up to something! Our condolences to all who loved Jean. She is reunited once again with family members who have gone before, while at the same time leaving an empty space in the lives of those she has left behind. We will keep you all in our thoughts. I heard the news last night and so many memories of sweet aunty Jean came flooding in. She was a kind and beautiful soul. She was a major part of myself growing up and I have nothing but good memories of her and her very kind soul . I will miss her dearly, but I take comfort in knowing she has joined her beloved husband and siblings in heaven as she has definitely earned her spot there . Deniece, Deanne, Dion, grandchildren, brothers and sisters of our loving departed friend Jeanie.. Since Denice texted me today, I have been thinking of our friendship and how lucky I was to have met Jeanie more than 56 years ago. We were both attending teachers college in St Johns and we became best friends from than on. There were years that we didn’t see each other but when we did it was like we had never been apart. I am going to miss her as I’m sure all of you will, but we know her love for family was topmost to her and she will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Dion, Denise, Deanne, brothers, sisters and grandchildren, I am deeply sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I shared many a good laugh and meal in Jean's kitchen when I was a teenager. Jean loved bring involved in all family get togethers , she followed the mailmen creed,, “no rain or shine or sleet or snow”, would keep her away from attending a family gathering!!!
I can remember wintery nights bringing her back to Holyrood from Pat’ place in Gould’s,, i remember her smile when Jim or another family member would show up unannounced to surprise her..
She loved travelling around on day trips or weekend excursions with her sisters and like most of my sisters always ready for a practical joke !
