The world has lost another good man. Knowing Kevin mostly in his younger years I remember a very easy going young fellow that was always quick with a smile. It is apparent that he built on that character as he grew and was able to touch many lives in a positive way. It is so sad that he didn't get to enjoy an extra 20 years in retirement and watch all his grandkids grow up. My condolences to Debbie, their sons and all extended family.

So sorry to hear this shocking news. Our condolences to you and all the family. I knew Kevin since I started in the trade many years ago. He was my instructor the first year he worked at the collage and a mentor to all the students in our class. I finally had a chance to work with Kevin over the last 15 years at the collage, and he always had a positive attitude and was there to lend a hand whenever someone need some guidance. He will be sadly missed by many of his family and friends.

No words can describe how sorry I am for the loss of your beloved husband, father, father-in-law and Grandfather.. My heart goes out to all of you in your time of sorrow. I have such fond memories of Kevin and Debbie, our young family met them over thirty years ago in Whitby, Ontario. Their friendship meant everything to us, our boys played baseball together in the summer when Michael would come to Ontario for his summer holidays. Kevin was so kind, thoughtful, generous with his time and was so fun to be around. They were the dynamic duo and we were very sad when they left Ontario to go back home. Playing hockey in Doha, Kevin’s team against mine. They are leading us by three goals with 12 seconds remaining. I’m ready to face off and charge the net when Kev moves closer to me and in his gentle way, says “Ward, there’s no way to tie the game with 12 seconds on the clock, so just take it easy and don’t pull a groin muscle or someth'n for no good reason”!

Kevin was one of the nicest guys and I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I'll always remember the beautiful day I spent with Kevin and Debbie last summer out in Sibley's Cove. We (along with RJ, of course) drove around Bay de Verde, Grates Cove and Redhead Cove and it was one of those perfect summer days. We had a lovely BBQ dinner back at their cabin, and we ate outside. I had the privilege of playing rec hockey with Kevin. He was an excellent friend and teammate. We had lots of laughs in the dressing room after the game.
I ran into him in April. Even though we hadn’t seen each other for a few years it was like time didn’t matter.

Kevin was on the very first All Star hockey team I coached in the late 70's.

Debbie and family, the news of Kevin’s passing hit me hard. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you all. It was only less than 2 weeks ago we had a good chat at JJ’s in CBS talking about appreciating life and he told you to hurry up and retire lol. May all your beautiful memories of Kevin help ease your pain during this difficult time. I’m sure Duane and Kevin are having a cold one together in heaven. Go Leafs Go!

There are no words to describe the loss felt here at your old campus. I see the impact you made on everyone you worked with. Words that I heard when friends spoke of you included kindness, respect and dedication to your students. So, so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. I know it is such a deep loss to Debbie and his family. I knew Kevin from his time in Doha. We were colleagues at CNA and teammates on the ice in the desert. They don't come any better tthan Kevin, they really don't. My sincere condolences. Rest easy Kevin. Sending my thoughts to Debbie.

Dear Debbie and family. I am so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing so suddenly. It was a shock to us of hearing such sad news. Kevin was a great co worker but most of all a true friend not only to me but my grandkids from Nova Scotia who we shared memorable outings.
