 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Alex Clarke of Long Pond, Manuals on February 28, 2024, aged 90 years at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by loving wife: Emily, daughter: Marilyn (2003), son: Rodney (1993), mother and father: Bill and Irene, mother-in-law and father-in-law: Fanny and Leonard Porter, brother: Bill (Maxine), sister: Marina (Wildred) and son- in- law: James Caravan. Left with fond and loving memories, his daughter: Mary, grandchildren: Shaun (Ashley), Kristen (Thomas), Katie (Matthew), great grandchildren: Claire, Colin, Brody, Mallory and Marshall, sister: Mary (Bill), brother: Lloyd (Janet) and son- in- law: David Butt (June), special friends George and Linda McDonald and home care worker John Porter. Also, nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Thursday, February 29^th, 2024, from 3 – 7 pm. Funeral service in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, March 1^st, 2024, at 10 am. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
