Donetta (Dawe) Neil
February 4th, 1959-Febraury 2nd 2024
In loving memory of Donetta Neil, born and raised in Long Pond, Newfoundland and Labrador, passed peacefully away on Friday, February 2nd, 2024, age 64 years surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Wade Neil, her parents Bryron Dawe and Alice Dawe, and younger brother Herb Dawe.
Donetta was a devoted wife who married Wade Neil in 1978 and together, they built a life on 16 Readers Hill Road, raising their sons Matthew and Zachary. She was a regular and active member of the Salvation Army Church in Long Pond and spent 23 years of her career working at RBC Bank.
Donetta will be fondly remembered as a caring mother to Matthew and Zachary, and a cherished grandmother to Tatianna, Clarabelle and Ella. She loved working on the flowers in her garden, traveling, laughing and having fun with her family.
Leaving to mourn are her two sons: Matthew (Tina) and Zachary (Katie). Her grandchildren Tatianna, Clarabelle and Ella.
Donetta will be missed by her siblings: Ruby Kennedy (Edgar), Barbra Wiscombe (Steve), Bryron Dawe (Elizabeth), Cass Anstey (Sheldon), and a loving circle of nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Jackie Dawe.
