Obituary of Gladys Stokes

Gladys Patricia Stokes passed away peacefully at St Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sept. 14 2018. In the presence of her loving family at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Stokes ,Olive Butler and brother Frank Stokes. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her daughters Cindy Brokenshire ( Howard) Wanda Bishop (Kelly Watson) Lynn Butler(George) and Gail Voisey, grandchildren Ryan & Paul Butler, Caitlin, Mitchell & Erin Voisey, Hannah & Catherine Brokenshire, brothers David Stokes, Ralph Stokes , Gordon Stokes (Audrey) and sister Marjorie Stokes. Gladys was an accomplished artist and talented seamstress. She enjoyed spending her time fishing and many other outdoor activities and was very involved with her church. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday Sept 15 2018 from 7-9 pm and Sunday Sept. 16, 2018 from 2 - 4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday Sept 17 at 11 am at The Salvation Army CBS Corps, Long Pond. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations made in Gladys memory may be made to The Salvation Army CBS Corps.
