Obituary of Rene Molloy

In memory of Rene Molloy 1949-2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rene Molloy on July 26th, 2018, after his long and heroic transplant journey. Rene was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. Leaving to mourn his wife of 46 years, Phyllis, his daughters Keri (Andy) Kao, Kristi (Johnny) Dalton, his cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Samantha, Hayley, Emma, Joshua, Julia and Jeremy, his sisters Janet Molloy, Sherry (Wayne) LeDrew, Cathy Chafe (Rick - deceased), Bev (Dennis) Skinner, brothers and sisters-in-law Patricia Fagan, Kevin (Barb) Dawe, Georgina (Dan) Hunt, Joan (Jim) Mercer, Bill (Sandra) Dawe, Donna Dawe and Sharon Dawe, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Hickey's Funeral Home in Kelligrews. Visitation to take place Saturday, July 28th from 7-9pm and Sunday July 29th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at St. Edward's Church, Kelligrews, Monday July 30th at 10:30am, with inurnment to follow at St. Edward's cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Rene's memory may be made to The Lung Transplant Travel Assistance Program through the Lung Association of NL.
