Obituary of John Hickey

It is with great sadness that the family of John Hickey announce his passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 at the age of 62, with family by his side. Left with fond and loving memories his spouse Peggie Best; daughter Wendy Cole (Ken); step-children Trevor White (Jenine), Vanessa Attwood (Trevor), Anna Walsh (Darren). Grandson Keelan, step- grandchildren TJ, Leyton, Arika, Russell, Sydney, Nolan, Ally, and Paul. Siblings, Marg, Hubert and Diana (Marshall), as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. John was predeceased by his father John Hickey Sr. and his mother Margaret nee. Connors. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2 pm from the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Happy Valley - Goose Bay. On behalf of the Hickey and Best family, they would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Labrador Health Centre staff, Critical Care Unit staff at the Health Science Centre for the compassionate care given to John and his family.
