Obituary of Ernest W. Smith

Smith, Ernest Wilberforce Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, age 92 yrs of C.B.S. Predeceased by parents Jacob and Mildred, wife Julia, special sister-in-law Lillian Martin (Nin), brothers Eugene, Cyril, Jake and Norman; sister Marion Barrett and special friend Phyllis Greeley. Left with fond and loving memories, daughters Donna Stapleton (Gerry), Jean Keough (Bern), son Peter (Wanda), grandchildren Colin, Emily, Ryan, Karen, Heather, Michael, Erin, Matthew and Andrew and their families; sisters Susie, Marjorie , Viola and Muriel, brothers Ken and Winston, sister-in-law Bernice, friend Lillian Francis; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 2 pm from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. Special thank-you to Dr. Michael Paul and the Nursing staff of the Nephrology Unit, staff of the Ambulatory Care Unit, and the Staff of Admiral's Coast Retirement Home.
