Roland & family; We were very saddened to hear of Violet's passing. I remember her very well as you visited on Change Islands which was next door to our homestead. Out thoughts and prayers were with you and your family during your time of sorrow. We were on vacation at the time of her passing which brings us a bit late for our message of condolence. Hold the memories close to your hearts . May God bless and comfort you all in the days ahead. Deepest Sympathy.

Uncle Roland, Barry & Kim, Brian & Amanda: While distance prevents me from being there in person, my heart and my prayers are certainly with you. Aunt Violet has been part of my life from childhood to this present day. Some of my best memories of her is at home. She would cook and I would wash the dishes. She made some of the best desserts I ever tasted. She loved company, and regardless of how many people came, she would find room at the table and a bed for them to sleep on. She loved to knit, crochet and make plastic canvas crafts and always had a project or two going at the same time. She was always kind and quick to help if she was able. She was a woman of faith, strength and courage. I'm sure these last few years must have been difficult as her health deteriorated, but she faced her challenges head on without complaint or grumbling. I will miss Aunt Violet's presence and her beautiful smile more than words can express, but I take great comfort knowing that she is now free of her suffering and is present with her Lord. Aunt Violet, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Well done good and faithful servant.

Uncle Roland, Barry and Brian, I sit here trying to find the right words to say at this time. Aunt Violet as always been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and I will cherish every memory I have of her. I always saw Aunt Violet as a quiet lady that loved her home and family, and over the past few years a women of strength and courage. I smile when I think about all the phone calls from her asking my opinion on matching colors or asking for a certain recipe. A much as we will miss her I take comfort knowing that she is in no more pain and is not suffering anymore. She is now with her Lord. Be assured that mine and Eddies thoughts and Prayers are with you at this time. Lisa and Eddie Blake
