Elsie and the entire family, We are so sorry that Ern has passed and are terribly upset we cannot be there to celebrate his life with you. We remember and deep appreciate the kindness and hospitality you showed us when we visited Newfoundland. We remember Ern to be especially kind, welcoming, and proud of his family. He was a great father-in-law who always made Pete feel like part of the family when he visited. We will miss him, and are so grateful to have known him.
