CHRISTIAN, WILLIAM, and the PORTER FAMILY - I remember Mel from our "snackbar hangout" days, which was not yesterday!! He had a lively personality, and once you met him, you can be certain you would never forget him. Fortunately, over the past couple of months, I had the pleasure to visit with Mel a few times at his home. Even though he was challenged by his health, he always did his best to make a chat last longer than it should have. I am sure that you all have great memories of your Dad, and I hope they help carry you through the rough days ahead, and that you turn this time into a celebration of his life. God Bless.
