Obituary of Fred N. Burke

Burke, Norbert Frederick (Fred) It is with overwhelming grief to announce the sudden passing of Norbert Frederick (Fred) Burke of Kelligrews on October 8, 2016, aged 59 years. Words cannot express how much the world will miss such a caring, loving and selfless man. Leaving to mourn and reflect on the countless memories made are his parents Norbert and Carole (Cobb) Burke, son Clifford and his mother Mary (Simms), His Love Elizabeth Morgan and her children Kelly, Barbie, and Tina. Also leaving to mourn are his Brothers Tony (Debbie), Russell (Regina), Sister Karon, his closest friend Rod (Denise), as well as many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and coworkers. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday, October 12th from 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday, October 13th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Friday, October 14th at 11 am. Flowers gratefully accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Newfoundland Heart & Stroke Foundation.
