I was very saddened to hear of Doug's passing, I am sure you are all in a state of shock as am I. My heart is there with you all and I have been thinking about you since Mom called me yesterday with the news. I was thinking back to the taxi days when Doug and I would fight over who would get the longest trips and then meet at Tim Hortons for coffee afterwards, (he would always buy because He always got the longer trips). A smile comes to my face when I remember how wonderful he looked dressed up and I would say to him "what's up Doug, you driving the Limo tonight" we would laugh at that. , He looked after me on those long nights driving the taxi and I was never afraid when Doug was on the shift with me. He was always only a call away. I am proud to call him my friend, I will treasure every memory and I will miss him dearly. My heart is there with you all and I will talk to you soon.
