Obituary of David John Martin

Martin, David John July 10, 1943 - July 4, 2016 Passed peacefully away at his home in Long Pond on Monday, July 4, 2016, age 72 yrs. He was a member of the CBS Volunteer Fire Dept and past president of the Kiwanis Club, Kelligrews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert Berkley and Lillian and step-mother Blanche, mother - in - law Minnie Bussey. Leaving to mourn his wife of 46 years Olga, sons Grant (Trudy), Glenn (Nicole), 6 precious grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Melanie and Megan, Tyler and Kalelyn (their mother Pamela), Zachary and Marcus, sister Joan Morgan (Nelson), brother- in -law Bill Bursey, sister-in-law Betty French. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm. Memorial service in the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2 pm. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
