DANCING SPARROW We watched him,slowly fold his wings,like a broken little sparrow. Slowly,fold his aged wings,and leave. Lifted up on bedside prayers and tears. Into the peaceful, painless, loving arms of heaven. He loved to dance. You know. And dance he did – for decades. Angels beware. He will dance again, our little sparrow, our Uncle Fred.
