Obituary of Leslie Porter

Porter, Leslie Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family after a lengthy illness at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, November 24,2008 , age 82 yrs of Foxtrap. Predeceased by his parents Florence and Edward James Porter, brothers and sister: Gerald, Bill, Malcom, Norman and Alice Porter. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 51 years Florence; his son James (Renee); daughters, Sylvia Upshall (Terry), Sandra Petten (Tony), Lorraine Smith (Jeff), Diana Upshall (George); Beverly Porter (Todd Whiffen); 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; special nephew Derrick Porter (Donna) of Foxtrap; special friend; Winnie Rideout; 2 special caregivers; Louise Lear and Michelle Peach. Also, a large circle of close relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday 10am-9pm, Thursday 10am-12 noon. Funeral service in All Saint's Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Thursday, November 27,2008 at 2pm. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap.
