One of my favourite memories of my last trip home in 2011 was going to visit Mr and Mrs Seymour. I was very sad to hear of his passing. I always loved going to sit in their kitchen to visit when I was little or getting to see them when they came to Ontario was always such a nice treat. My heartfelt love and prayers to you Mrs. Seymour, Uncle Jim xo, Nikki and Michael and to all of your family. Rest Eternal grant unto him Oh Lord xox

To Mrs. Seymour, Doris, Jim, John, Nikki & Michael, I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and dear friend. Throughout the last few days I have spent much time thinking about the many occasions that our families shared together and how much I enjoyed playing 120 with him. I think he took his card games a little more seriously than we did but it was always a lot of fun! I remember how kind you Mrs Seymour and Mr. we're to myself Susan & David and how much we enjoyed going to visit! Susan & David still refer to you as Nanny Seymour. Steve & I were also very grateful to know that you were both in the kitchen at the Legion cooking for our wedding reception. In the next few days, as you are all grieving your loss, I hope that you will also remember all the wonderful memories and know that Mr. Seymour's kindness, his generosity and his wonderful personality touched the hearts of so many. Rest in Peace Mr. Seymour. Much love & hugs to all of you.

To all the Seymour family: Sorry to hear of Mr. Seymour's passing. I didn't know him well, but it wasn't hard to see his great character as a kind and gentle man. I also knew of his love and commitment to the RCL, branch 50 and also the Veterans Memorial Cross project and his friendship with John Scott, founder of the project. My deepest sympathy to the family.
