News of Mancel's death brings much sorrow. Mancel is one of many first cousins in our family and I have many good memories of him. He will be greatly missed but his warmth and kindness will always be remembered. Chats with Mancel were a highlight of any trip to Woody Point. My condolences to all of Mancel's children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren. A loved ones passing is never easy, but hold on to memories of happier days. As long as he lives on the hearts of family and friends he will never be forgotten. Mancel's garden will be remembered by many. There is a verse from a poem that makes me think of Mancel when I read it. The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth, -- One is nearer God's heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth. With love to all. -- Leona
