To Trey and Jennifer: We are shocked and saddened to hear of your Mom's passing! Please accept our deepest sympathy. Your mother was very kind to us and she had such a big heart......we talked a lot and she always spoke so lovingly of you both! I can only imagine how much she adored her grandchildren. May the memories you have sustain you in the days ahead. God has her in His keeping, you have her in your hearts.

Trey and Jennifer I was shocked to hear of your Moms passing she was a beautiful lady and of course still is, I spoke to her not long ago and she was so proud talking about you both and her grandchildren. It is with disbelief that we hear of Ruth's passing. I will always regard her as one of the strongest women I ever had the privileged to know. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this most difficult time.

I have so many great memories of Ruth. I met Jennifer while attending university in St. John's. Our connection was instant, as was my connection to Ruth. Every time I went to their house she treated me like her own child. I'd like to say she cooked me home cooked meals but kraft dinner with bacon bits that Jen usually cooked can not be counted as home cooked. We sat many nights and had drinks together usually with Jen doing our nails. We laughed so hard sometimes we cried!! When I moved back to Corner Brook whenever I would call Jen I was usually on the phone with Ruth for an hour before I talked to Jen. Ruth loved to talk!! I know wherever she is now she's well dressed with her make up and nails done. I never saw her any other way. Rest in peace with Hollis Ruth. You're together again.
