CJ and Family, We would like to extend our deepest sympathy on your mother's passing. My sister Mary and I had the real pleasure of meeting your mom earlier this year at Aunt Elizabeth's 90th birthday after so many years in between. Again our condolences. Sean Hamilton and Family

It has only been in the last 30 years that I have gotten to really know my aunt Celie. When she moved back to St.John's and into St. Clare Manor we were able to get together(when she was not tied up with all her volunter work) She was always interested in what I was doing and kept me going with her tea buns and famous parker house rolls. I am sure going to miss both her and her rolls this Christmas. Whenever I left her apartment I always had a care package(Homemade turkey soup,rolls,buns etc. etc.
I have so many pleasant memories as a child at christmas time as a few days before Christmas a large box marked DO NOT OPEN UNTIL CHRISTMAS would arrive from Aunt Celie. She knew just what we all would like and this went on until we were all grown up.
In the last thre years since Aunt Celie's close friend died I got to spend a lot of time with her(especially the past few months when she wasn't feeling well. Being her only relative living in St.John's I was glad I was here for her. The past five weeks was very difficult for me (watching someone who loved life so much getting weaker and weaker.)I know she was ready to leave us and on Monday,Decemember 2nd around noon she did just that. Rest in Peace dear Celie.Love you and will miss you very much. Anne
CJ and family,I remember your mother from our days working at the Gander airport.We had a few laughs together,thought about her often since she left Gander.I'm sure you will find the strenght to get through these diffcult days ahead.God Bless.Greg and Bonnie
