Dad.. Gone but not forgotten
He was a miner with a heart of gold. Through the good and bad times, I treasure the memories with you especially by the wood stove. You always made sure there was wood in the fire despite all the challenges you faced each day. One of the most treasurable memories were when we were without power for nearly a month, and you showed me how to make a candle from cheese wax.
I can still hear you playing the guitar In my memories while sitting at the kitchen table where you cooked will always inspire my career and keep me connected to you. I’ll never disclose the secret spice in your spaghetti sauce and always remember the taste you put on scrambled eggs. Breakfasts and fish and brewis on the wood stove, the best BBQs. I will continue these traditions.
I always get a kick out of the times when you pronounced words with an "er" at the end, like saying "Amander" instead of "Amanda."
God Rest Your Soul in Peace
Throughout life's journey, forever and always, your love and guidance will stay with us every step we take. In every thought and dream, you will be there with me and Jack.
Jack And I loves you deeply
