We met Jean the first day we moved in our house next door in 2010. From day one she was kind and welcoming. We were not neighbors that were in eachothers houses But we were neighbors that were there as friends. A chat in the driveway, on the back deck, Our garbage bin being brought In, Jean we will miss you in many ways. Craig Tristin and Autumn Cherish the memories and we are here if you need us.

I met Jean for the first time this year at u15 female hockey and really enjoyed our chats. It really struck me how much she loved her grandchildren and was so proud of them. I was also in awe of her courage to travel the highways in the middle of winter by herself. Her roll with the punches attitude and tell it like it is, was appreciated. She will be missed. So sorry to hear this news: Jean was a wonderful coach with Special Olympics Mount Pearl for many years and tirelessly gave her time when we hosted competitions. Many fond memories of our chats. Rest in peace coach Jean
Craig, Lauren and her darling grandchildren, Jean was an amazing friend to all who knew her. She was an a valuable volunteer to many. She volunteered many years with MP Figure Skating and dearly loved her time volunteering with MP Special Olympics. She will be missed.

I've been friends with Craig, her son, since we were in highschool together. When I went through a bad breakup at age 20 and needed someplace to stay for a few weeks, Jean welcomed me into her home without question. Just like that, I was part of the family for a while. That's just the kind of person she was--strong and caring to her core. She will be fondly remembered by many.
My dear friend you will never be forgotten by Chace and I. The outings with the kids, teas at Tim’s and times at the rink we will always remember and cherish. My thoughts are with your grandchildren and Craig as they move forward without your wisdom and determination and gusto. Love always.
