Jennifer, Dave, Nancy, and families please accept my deepest condolences as you lay Glenda to rest. One of my earliest and fondest memories of Glenda is of ice fishing on Salmonier Line when I was still a youngster. It was before Jennifer was born and probably before Ed and Glenda were married. I could be wrong about the married part. I never had much luck catching any fish. Although that was disappointing, it was nicely ameliorated by the ham and cheese sandwiches with hot cream coffee from a thermos that Glenda thoughtfully brought along. It comforts me still when I recall that memory. God bless you all and take care.

Glenda was an inspirational person for many as she dealt with the adversities of life. She was an honest, hard working, positive and witty person. On one trip back home we were playing pool at Dave and Elaine's house. The song "House of the Rising Sun" was playing. I mentioned to Glenda it is one of my favorite songs. We started to sing along but i did not know all the lyrics.
The next day Glenda showed up with the lyrics typed up for me. Here she said, now you can learn the lyrics and enjoy the song.
We had a laugh and I never forgot her thought fullness.
