Mary Elizabeth Butler (Hayse)

Mar 19/46 – Feb 15/24

Passed peacefully away on February 15, 2024, surrounded by her family.  Predeceased by her mother and father: John and Margaret Hayse, mother and father-in-law: Levi and Susie Butler, brothers: Kevin Hayse, Patrick Hayse, Lee Hayse, sisters-in-law: Leah Bishop, Laura Cable and Rebecca Rideout.

Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Reginald, her beloved sons: Randy (Renee), Rod (Ingrid), Warrick (Alison) and her precious grandchildren: Danielle Burton (Peter), Jasmine Fowler (Nathan), Madison and Mackenzie Butler, step-grandchildren: Jeremy Noakes and Michelle Small (Jeff), great-granddaughter: Callie Rideout, and step-great-grandsons: Sawyer and Hunter Small.

Mary will be missed by her brothers: Jack (Barb), Verno (Mary), Alonso (Madonna), Randell (Mary) and sisters: Alice, Shirley, Marg (Henry) and sister-in-law Jane Hayse, special caregiver: Melissa O’Leary and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of 7 East at St. Clare’s for taking such exceptional care of Mary.  You were truly heaven sent.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Monday February 19 2024, from 3-7 pm.  Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 20th 2024, at 11 am.
