Uncle Wallace, it deeply saddens me that you are gone way too soon!
Of all the things you can choose to be in life; the best thing is to be kind! Your family knew how kind you were. And it truly warms my heart to know that you touched so many lives with your kindness and sense of humour.
I don’t know if you ever knew just how much I appreciated all the times you picked me up from the airport. And of course you being seconded to the couch when I came to visit!
I have such fond memories of all the laughs we had on our Sunday drives to get an ice cream! Nan always ordering her favourite, Maple Walnut.
You’ll be missed more than you could ever imagine! You had two of the best traits a person could have in this world - being kind and a great sense of humour.
May you forever rest in the peace you so richly deserve and may your memory be a blessing to all that knew you!

Sincere Condolences to the family of Mr. Butler. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Butler almost 2 years ago when we moved to this area. He was always friendly and enjoyed a little chat when he would stop by for recycling. We will certainly miss him. RIP Mr. Butler

Wallace was my bus driver in high school, he was a quiet and kind man, and I often seen him around the town over the years and had a couple conversations with him at topsail Beach, seemed like a great man, my condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear about Wallace. He was a friend to all who knew him. Wallace had that loving nature
so gentle, kind & that little smile that when you spoke to him you knew it was geninue.I would love to have that kind of nature as I’m sure we all would. On our walks we would meet Wallace & he would stop his truck to have a little chat. Hold all the special memories that ye have of him close to your hearts.

Wally was a great member of our team, everyone loved him and the customers too. We'll remember him as a reliable person with excellent work ethic and a good sense of humor. Even though he hasn't been working with us for a while, he'd pop in now and then to say hi, have a little chat, crack a joke... He will be missed!

Butler Famiy so sorry to hear of Wallace's passing, he was a very mid and gentle person with a sense of humor that gave him a great personality. I remember going out to hockey games in St. Johns with him and a car full of friends with us, there was always room for one more. I loved all the chats we had, he will be missed, RIP Wallace

The Butler Family
So sorry and saddened to hear of Wallace’s passing. Going to miss his daily visits, the stories, the laughs and his sense of humour. The garage will never be so warm again as Wallace stuffed the stove continuously with wood to stay warm with an occasional nap in the chair while everyone else roasted with the heat. He was such a kind man with a heart of gold. Going to be well missed. Sincere condolences to all the family! Thoughts and prayers are with you all!
