First, I would like to thank all those at the Hickey”s Memorial Home for all that they did for my family and the extraordinary measures they went to to make sure my mothers wishes were met. I will be always grateful for your care.
My mother and I have meant memories. She lived with me over the years for weeks to months and I was able to spend hours laughing, hugging and sharing family stories. My mother was the strongest woman I knew and she gave me the strength to be the same woman I am today. When I was down she was there to lift me up. When I needed the strength to move forward but couldn’t, she was the rock that helped get me where I needed to go. There will always be a piece of my heart that remains broken now that she is gone. I know they say time heals but for my mother. I have her memories and she will always be with me. I love you mom. Be at peace with your mom, Dad and Dieter. I know they were there to welcome you home.
