Thank you to everyone for your kind words and for sharing your memories about Dad. He is missed very much and this is a difficult time, but hearing stories and condolences from friends and family is a great comfort.

I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Tim’s passing. So many of the best childhood memories include Tim and Bette whether at Tobin’s field on a Sunday afternoon, at the ‘shack’ in Old Shop or camping and picking berries in Cappahayden - there was always so much laughter and fun. Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Bette and Melissa and families on the passing of Uncle Tim. I remember Tim as such a kind, gentle man, who loved a good story and was quick to provide a laugh. I have very fond memories from my childhood of times with Bette and Tim, such as the time they took me to the stock car races in the Goulds. One of my favourite family photos is with Bette holding me on the old metal rocking horse that was used and passed down through all my siblings.
