To Joan’s family- Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I knew Joan quite well when we were growing up in Cherry Lane, Manuel’s. We were actually the only two girls in our area and we always played together. The last time Joan and I were in each other’s company was at the Health Sciences Center where we both worked. We had many a chat throughout those years. I’m so sorry to hear this unfortunate news. I will not be able to attend her funeral as I’m currently out of the province but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Joan Meadus

Joan faced her many challenges with humor and good spirit. She was a warm and friendly neighbor and her easy-going nature was always appreciated.

To Joan’s family and friends,
I was saddened to hear that Joan had passed. I worked with her for many years in the Heath Care sector. I learned a lot about Purchasing products from her!
She loved a game of cards during lunch time or to play her luck with some scratch tickets. Cherish the memories you have of Joan, I know I will.
Rest in Peace Joan

I was so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She was a wonderful neighbour and friend. She drove us to many many bingo games over the years as kids and other activities. My Mom loved to go to visit her and Aunt Blanche on Wednesday nights for a cup of tea and Tim's donuts. She was such a kindhearted soul who loved her family ,especially her Smith cousins. She will be missed by so many. Thinking of The Clarke and Smith families during this difficult time.

Sending our deepest condolences on Joan’s passing. We were deeply saddened to hear she had passed. I remember Joan fondly as an avid card and bingo player. She certainly loved a good game . I also remember Joan as a very social person , wherever there was a raffle or fund raiser she was sure to be there . The many christening dresses and blankets she knit/ crocheted over the years no one could count . But most of all I remember Joan as a friendly, kind and caring lady .
God speed sweet Joan rest in peace .

So saddened to hear the passing of Joan. She was a very kind person who thought of others. She was the first to offer up a few trays of date squares when we would have a bake sale for charity and always bought tickets in aid of any fund raiser we went to her with. RIP Joan
