Oh daddy. Having to lay you to rest is one thing I haven't yet learned how to accept. You have always been the light in my life. I could write countless memories and tell the world over the incredible ways you've made my life amazing. It was you and me. Just us two, for decades. My best friend. My secret keeper. My confidant. My soul outside of my own body. Everyone who knew and loved you have sent their most beautiful condolences, but one thing I keep hearing over and over is how " close" they knew you and I were. How we were each other's "world's". Everyone who knew us looked at us as a team. There was no Brittany without daddy and there was no daddy without Brittany. And as I look through tears trying to write this in your obituary, I cant help but to feel some how at peace knowing you can no longer feel the pain you felt for a long time. Too long. I'll hold every single memory so close to my heart. So will your grandchildren, who absolutely swooned over your very existence. We will never find a friend in anyone the way we found one in you, daddy. I know you're with us. I know you'll watch over us and protect us the same way you would do if you were here. Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hands. Now and forever our angel. I love you
