Aggie was a kind and loving daughter, wife, aunt, sister and friend to all of her family members and friends. Aggie joined her sister Mary in the Canadian military reserves in Saint John NB in the late 1940’s but eventually moved back to Newfoundland to live with her mother and father.
Aggie married Mike Hayes in 1970 and they enjoyed many years together and as I recall enjoyed travelling together on trips to Florida and Saint John to visit Mary, her sister. Agnes was a regular attendee at Catholic Church services both in Newfoundland and when visiting Saint John.
I remember her fondly from her many visits to Saint John to visit Mary, my mother. She will be dearly missed by her niece Brenda, and nephews Jerry and Wayne.
