To Fred, Glen and all of Jessie's family: Some of my best memories as a young child was visiting members of My Mother's family in Manuel's, The Metcalfe's. Mom, with her Children in tow would always visit her Aunt Lizzie, cousin Edward, Jessie and the boys. I keenly remember the perfection of the house with everything precisely in it's place. Jessie was always very kind, treating me with candy and cookies. Edward and Jessie would visit our house at Christmas time, which Mother and Father enjoyed so much. A very kind, compassionate and faithful lady. I express my most sincere condolences to all the family at this very sad time. May she rest in eternal peace.

Glenn, Fred and families and Aunt Ella,
So sorry for the passing of Aunt Jessie. I have many memories of Aunt Jessie when she would come to visit nanny Fagan at Aunt Violets.
Last time I saw Aunt Jessie was shortly after she went to the personal care home in Topsail and I remember her taking me in to show me her room and all of the pictures she had of her grandchildren. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. There was a sing along that day at the home and she wanted me to come sit with her in the common room to listen to the music. After it was over we went back to her room where she would ask me remember when's. She was a very caring Aunt and she made you feel like you could talk to her about anything. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Glen, Fred and family,
I am saddened to have just learned of your Mom’s passing. I think first of how special her friendship was with my Mom, Abbie. They grew up together and shared like-lives of family, church and Girl Guides. Happily, they continued their bond in their years together at Meadowcreek, a comforting and welcome companion to each other, spending many pleasant afternoons together. Thoughts of your Mom will always make me smile. She was my early Girl Guide leader and later Girl Guide peer as adults together. So many wonderful memories. The summers they visited me with mom and dad in Clarenville. Always looked forward to seeing them. Growing up when we were quite young aunt Jessie would wash my hair and my sister Glenys's hair and give us a,sponge bath. Had to be clean for Church on Sunday.
