So Sorry to hear of Nicks passing. We knew that he was having some health issues but never in our wildest dreams did we expect to hear that he had passed. It was always a pleasure to get together with you guys to share a meal and a few laughs. When Nick was cooking it quite easy to tell that he enjoyed preparing the meal as much as we enjoyed eating it. Nick was always a pleasure to be around. So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. When I remember Larry, I think of staff BBQs in St Anthony, and the pride with which he prepared and served the food. He always had a smile for everyone. Just a month ago I sat in your kitchen and Larry and I shared our last whisky together, he said it was our last, I said BS, he knew better. He knew how sick he was.
We were very close friends; moose hunting, snowmobiling, sailing and of course eating was what we enjoyed together.
We will always remember the good times we had, I will mark,”Larry’s Tree” , in his honour of him going up it just 30 klm from town on a trip to Harbour Deep. Larry would like that.
