So sorry to hear about Mike’s passing and I want to express my deepest condolences to you and your Family. l know the past few years have been difficult and hope you find peace in each and every memory . I have many memories of Mike growing up next door, his character and passion for mechanics and Mopars influenced many, including myself. I remember when I was 18, my 1st car, a dodge Omni, broke down, we put it your garage and he showed me how to put the new timing belt on, I was so gratified when it fired back up again. and just a few years ago in March 2016, I was cleaning our skidoos in Dads backyard, Mike walked over and we heard his familiar saying “wadda yah at bo” followed by “your cleaning up your lawn ornaments are yah, cause that all that’s any good for here” my son Nolan was quite entertained by our conversation. Even today Nolan will sometimes greet me with Mikes familiar saying that he heard that day. We went to Moparfest for the first time back in 2017, and my very first thought was, Mike would really enjoy this.
He won’t be forgotten and will be missed.

Very sad news, Mike was a true friend and I had the privilege to work with him at CFS St John’s. I’ll always remember him wearing a life jacket while ice fishing for one event. The ice was about three feet thick. He also was our Chauffeur for our wedding with his pristine car. Our ride home was another matter that night. RIP my friend you will be missed, our heart felt condolences to the family.

My condolences to Mike’s family and friends. I have know Mike for 23 years. I was posted to CFS St Johns in 2000 and it was the same time I met Mike! He was a warm hearted soul that would borrow $20 to lend ya $20. He was full of life and cherished his job ( Mechanic) at the Station! Lovey ya budz. RIP.
