So sad to hear of your Aunt Myrtle’s passing. You have all been so kind to her (and Uncle Bob) and have done so much for her especially since she moved back to Conception Bay South. You, your spouses and children have all been her family.
I so enjoyed visiting when I stayed at Marilyn’s as she shared so many wonderful memories of her and my Mom when they were members of the Women’s Institute in Gander.
Myrtle was also my high school home economics teacher and I learned so much from her then and in later years. Rest well “Aunt Myrtle”.
I have been a good friend of Myrtle's at her home in Gander & Traytown for many years & we kept in touch lately by phone. We had many meals together in both places'. I have lost a good friend & will miss her. I know her neice & nephew were always so good to her & send sincere sympathy to you & all who knew her. Eileen Elms.

We are missing one of our very best friends and long time neighbours. Myrtle was a dear friend and we spent many hours of togetherness over the 20 plus years we were neighbours. Myrtle was kind, generous and always there to help. Her cooking and weaving were second to none. Deepest sympathy to the wonderful nieces and nephews who cared for and loved her on a daily basis. Myrtle was happy at Tiffany Village until her health gave out and she often remarked that she had made the right choice of where to live. We will miss her and she will always be in our hearts. What a joy when she is once again surrounded by Bob's love.
