Joey was one of the first people I ever met when my family moved to CBS in the 80’s. He was a great friend not just through high school, but afterwards too. He became a close friend of my now husband and stood for us at our wedding in 1995. He was always willing to help at the drop of a hat, solving any landscaping problems we had over the years. Joey also had a huge personality and such a sense of humour. He made quite the impression on my two sons when he showed up out of the blue one day with an armful of fireworks that he shot off in our backyard. That’s how we will always remember him - and he was an absolute pleasure to know. Judy, Anthony, and parents, we are so sorry for your loss. Our heartfelt condolences.

In your time of grief, I thought I would share a fond memory of my first boyfriend. When Joey and I were dating, he had stopped by the house one night to give me flowers after work. It was late and mom and dad were in bed, so Joey and I were talking through the living room window. After a little while we were discovered by my dad. Dad said to Joey “Romeo it’s time to go home Juliet has to go to bed.” After that whenever dad and Joey ran into each other they always had a chuckle about that. Joey was always so sweet and kind.

To the Taylor family and Adam,
We met Joe a couple of years ago through Adam & Ashley who live in our basement apartment. Joe was always so kind, funny, generous, sincere, and always there to give a hand. If we mentioned we had a tree to be trimmed, look out, Joe would say "I will do that for you". One day after a big snow storm we heard all this commotion and looked out the window, low behold here's Joe with his working crew out snow blowing and shoveling the driveway. We will certainly miss him pulling up in the truck to pick up/drop off Adam or to drop in for a visit. He was only here last Sunday nibbling on a piece of salt beef and watching videos on the computer with us.

It's with such a heavy heart we are sending our Condolences to joeys family and kids and all his friends near and far . Joey was such a amazing man with such a huge heart with so much love to give. He lived life to the fullest having a laugh and making other smile . He was also the kind of person who would help anyone who needed a hand no questions asked . To calling everyday to check in to see how everyone was doing to help me wile I was pregnant with Grayson .making sure I didn't need anything done . To helping clean the house to taking care of my plants when Josh was away to just being such a good friend . We will be for ever great full to have gotten to know joey and will tressure every last memorie of him . May you rest easy joey buddy your missed by all . Sleep well my buddy tell we meet again .
