Obituary of Alvin Taylor

Alvin Earl Taylor (May 14, 1941 – March 5 , 2020) Alvin Earl Taylor of Chamberlains passed peacefully away on March 5, 2020, aged 78 years at Agnes Pratt Home in St. John’s. Predeceased by parents, Richard and Emma Taylor (nee Butler); siblings, Bernice and Nelson; and infant son, Stephen. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 59 years, Daphne Taylor (nee Tilley); children, Brenda (Greg) Noseworthy, Rick (Diana) Taylor, Greg (Sherry) Taylor; grandchildren, Mark (Nicole), Stephen (Taylor), Philipp, Sarah (Ryan), Nathan; great-grandchildren Avery and Peyton; brothers, Wayne (Judy), Paul (Cathy) and Nick (Marilyn); and special friend, Gordon White. Visitation at James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 2 pm – 4 pm, Sunday from 2 pm – 4 pm. Funeral service will take place at Faith Pentecostal Church in Foxtrap on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 2 pm. Interment in Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Reader’s Hill Road, Long Pond.
