joy;chris;perry & families: I wish to pass on my family's condolences in the passing of "aunt june". although i never got to see her often in pass years she will always be remembered as being a kind ;passionate woman who greeted me always with a smile and who moto was "slow and steady wins the race". take solace in the fact that she was very proud of you all and her values live on in your hearts.
i was very sorry to hear of the passing of june bursey. june and her sister mona went to school with me at macpherson academy in st.john's in the 1950's. i remember friday afternoons at macpherson was junior red cross day and anyone who wanted to could get up and sing or perform entertainment.june and mona would sing ama pola ,my pretty little poppy. it's very sad to hear of her passing.
My sincere condolences to you all. Aunt June was very special to us growing up. I Have a picture on my wall today of myself at about age 10 with my Granddad and Grandmom in Aunt June's driveway taken by my Mother, Geraldine, who was always a good friend of Aunt June.
