I wrote this little letter for my beautiful great- grandmother Edna. Just too try and express my feelings a little, and try and show her a little bit on how I really feel. I was way too upset to read this out in the Funeral Home, so the priest did it for me,he did a wonderful job at reading it! My story brought tears to everyones eyes just because it was all true! At least, the stuff that I added in my story was 100% true. And, I know for a fact that Nana was looking down on me, smiling and laughing at me. But, here's my story for the people that didn't hear it already and that would like to hear it now. And, for the people that already hurd it and would like to read it over again them self. This is exacally what I wrote to her.
" May 13th, 2011.
Hey Nana. I know you're probably more then likely not going to see this but maybe you will because you're a beautiful angle now, and can see everything! But, I decided to right you a little something just to try and express my feelings a little better. So, here it goes.
Dear Nana; Good day my beautiful angle. How's everything going up there in Heaven? Good. I hope! Everything is bad down here, We're all so upset that you're now gone for good. Why does it have to be you that went befor someone else? You where way to amazing to go. But, now I know what people mean by. " The good go first. " You where one amazing mom,nan,great nan,sister, friend. Everything someone could ask for.
You tought me so much in life, more then I can possibly ask for. You gave me whatever I wanted, not only in that case, but. You gave everyone something, no matter if they needed it or not. You always made Family and Friends go first, befor your self. I'm sure if you where able too you'd give them the world or more. Just because that's the way you where.
You looked absoloutley beautiful in your casket Nana. You looked so peaceful&happy. Just like you always where, when you where still alive. I've never ever seen you with a frown on your face. You where always a happy person, even while you where still fighting for your life you kept a happy face&joked as much as you could.
I'm happy you're in a safer place now, with nomore suffering.
You and pop are for sure, the most amazing and beautifulest angles god could ever take from Earth. I bet you that you and pop are up there looking down on us, saying "God b'y, look how sooky there being. " while playing the card game called Skat. Not a night went by that yee would not play that game, you two where pro's, yee always had us broke playing it.
Please, just please. Grant this one wish for me. Take good care of us all; And let us get threw this easy. Give papa a BIG hug and kiss for me, Tell Meaghan, Leigh&Rodney a Hello. Tell Holly O'brien that she's beautiful and that all her " wolf pack " misses her alot. & PLEASE tell Colton Mitchmum a Hello, and that I still remember the first day I ever met him back in June with Liam,Mitch&Jordan.
Well, Bye Nana.
I love, and miss you. SO much, more then words can explain.
But remember, It's for sure not a good bye!
