Vicki & Brenda So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful lady. I can still remember her teaching us Guides. She was a lady who was there for everyone, she did what she could to help everyone. Remember all the good times you shared, she will always be with you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

In 1974 our family went to P.E.I. (Our first family vacation!) Aunt Mary Emma asked mom to bring her back something. Mom asked her what she wanted and Aunt Mary Emma said she didn't care what it was...even if it was a rock! Apparently while on holidays I must have picked up a rock and told mom not to forget Aunt Mary Emma. Anyway, in 2003 after mom died Aunt Mary Emma gave me this rock that I had picked up. ( I didn't even remember it!) It's painted on the front and it says.."This is the rock Renee picked up from The Fortress of Lousiburg" She glued felt on the back and wrote..."To my Aunt. From Renee Taylor. Age 11. 1979". She must have thought a lot of that rock. Not only did she paint it but she kept it for 24 years before giving it to me after mom died. I will always have that rock and remember the warm feelings I had when she gave it to me. Love you Aunt Mary Emma and I know you are having lots of laughs with Uncle Fred, Mom and Nan. You will be missed.
