Obituary of Margaret Taylor

Margaret Eileen Taylor (nee O'Leary) passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, on April 12, 2019 at her home in Chamberlains. She was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Sadie O'Leary, siblings (William, Frank, Tom, Jack, Patrick, Mary, Rita, and Charlie) and her beloved son, Gary Patrick. She leaves to mourn her husband of 67 years, Ralph, and their children: Annie (Bill Jackman), Billy, Beverly (Bob Haskell), Ralph Jr. (Sherry), Daphne (Harold Tucker), Brian (Evelyn Vokey) and Robert (Michelle Conway). She is survived by her dear sister Gen Corrigan (Albert), sisters in law Beth and Rita O'Leary, and her best friend, Beth Woodford. Eileen was a doting grandmother to 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, card games, and a good laugh with any and all who came for a visit and a cup of tea. Her door was always open. Eileen was also blessed with wonderful neighbours, a large extended family, and many compassionate caregivers. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm, Monday from 10 am -12 noon, 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuel's on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow.
