Obituary of Rex Tilley

It is with great sadness that we announce Rex Tilley, 83 years of age from Kelligrews, passed peacefully away on Wednesday March 27, 2019 while surrounded by his loving family at St. Claire's Mercy Hospital. Leaving to mourn with fond & loving memories his wife of 58 years Geraldine, son Tony (Janet), daughter Sharon (Tom) Mandeville, and precious grandson Ronald (Rebecca), one sister Margaret, brothers-in-law Donald Abbott (Mary), Gerald Abbott, very special family friend Juanita Lear, and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends whom he cared so much about. Rex's pleasure of hunting and fishing was only surpassed in importance by his devotion to his family and close circle of friends. He will be in our hearts forever. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made in Rex's memory to the charity of one's choice. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday from 2 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place from the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1 pm with interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
